Rob Hamilton, CEO of the Instant Offices Group, founded the Instant Offices Group in May 1999 to amalgamate the fragmented serviced offices sector into one online marketplace, bringing the power of the internet into what was a slow-moving and traditional industry. He has since grown the group to be the largest internet gateway to flexible offices by market share in every key market in the world, providing a global service to over a million people every year, including over 80% of FTSE 100. Instant Offices Group has grown by over 100% year-on-year since 2001, and is forecast to have a turnover of £20m in 2009. Today, the company has an 80-strong workforce based in its London, Miami and Sydney offices.
Prior to founding the Instant Offices Group, Rob was Associate Partner at Chapman Swabey, now part of GVA Grimley, the international property advisor. He graduated in Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University, qualified as a Chartered Surveyor during his tenure at Atis Real (a European real estate property company) and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
In 2008, Instant Offices Group featured in The Sunday Times’ Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For league for the second year running, in recognition of the group's proven strengths as an excellent employer, and featured in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 league of fastest growing private UK companies. |
